For a two-day working visit aimed at strengthening trade and bilateral ties between Sweden and Nigeria, Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of heads of government and parastatal organizations join Shettima.
President Bola Tinubu organized the visit, which would involve high-level talks with important Swedish authorities, the release said.
The Swedish Prime Minister and Crown Princess Victoria are also on the vice president’s agenda.
ICT, digitalization, education, sustainable transportation, agriculture, and mining are among the major areas of partnership that will be examined during the visit.
On Saturday, Shettima is anticipated to return to Nigeria.
