Transmission Company of Nigeria says it has been working round the clock to ensure Nigeria remains lighted without blink.
At a media parly I Abuja representative of the company and president environment reporters association, Sule Inusa said TCN has over 1800 kilometres of 330 kV lines that travers across the country.
He said some of these lines pass through difficult terrain, while some are in the areas threatened by insurgency.
Sule also dismissed speculations in the media alleging that specific contracts did not pass through due process.
According to him “section 43 of the procurement act was properly followed by TCN” stressing that the bureau of public procurement is a government agency saddled with with the responsibility of enforcement prior to review of thresholds.
TCN he further maintains remains committed to accountability at all times.
