The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State on Social Intervention Programmes (SSA-SIP), Hon Lukman Abimbola Bello has sent a message of Felicitation to Christians on the celebration of this year’s Christmas celebration.
Hon Bello in a Christmas message made available to journalists in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Friday urged Christians in the state to use this special occasion which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ for fervent prayers for Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s led administration as well as the entire state.
Hon Bello stressed the importance of the season and urged privileged citizens to demonstrate love to one another by reaching out to those in need in the spirit of the yuletide.
Hon Bello also used the medium to pray for the entire state and Mr Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola said people of the state should expect a continued dividend of democracy in the state.
According to the politician, “let us remember those who do not have food, clothing and other material needs around us at this point in time and give them something out of the little or much we have as there is nothing too insignificant to spare or too big to give.
“Not only this, I enjoin you all that as you commemorate this annual event, we should maintain peace and order and equally give
our best to others in the service of the living God”.
Hon Bello further enjoined the entire people of the state to continue to demonstrate their unflinching support to Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his efforts to turn around the fortunes of Osun State.
“May this celebration be everlasting for you all and may you never have cause to weep at this season”
