Senator representing Nasarawa west senatorial district , senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has distributed Five Thousand Nine Hundred(5900) bags of rice across the Fifty Nine (59 ) wards of the senatorial zone.
The distribution exercise covers 5 Local Government Areas of the senatorial district which comprises Keffi, Kokona, Karu , Nasarawa and Toto , with flag off in Keffi on Friday.
Represented by his personal Assistant, Honourable Salisu Atiku, Senator Ahmed Wadada warn the various coordinators and party ward Chairmen against diversion of the item for their selfish interest.
Senator Wadada also assured them of his continuous support in bettering the standard of living.
He added that ” One of the cardinal objective for seeking to represent you is to add values to your lives be ensuring that you are happy and fairly represented regardless of religion, tribe and social affiliation.
“Today we are distributing 5900 bags of 10kg of rice to the 59 wards across the 5 LGAs that made up Nasarawa west senatorial district and each ward will get 100 bags.
“You are also aware that few weeks back we shared 1350 forms from the National Assembly which was filled and submitted, we are still working on it and in no distance time those that were privilege to had been given the forms will be duly contacted” He added.
Also, Professor Silas Gyar described the gesture as a humungoes and reasonable of Senator Ahmed Wadada , saying it is very examplary and it goes a long way to alleviating the suffering of the people.
“We are lucky to have a wonderful representative from.Nasarawa west in the person of senator Wadada.What he has been doing and is still doing is the expectation of the masses and we are glad he is a true leader” Silas alluded.
Contributing, Grace Bakace a beneficiary from Kokona LGA , said the gesture by senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada is timely à nd a big relief for the masses at this material time
According to her “I am one of the strong supporter of senator Wadada and I thank God he won the election. We supported him because of his distinct leadership qualities which he demonstrates without regards to creed , religion , party affiliation and tribe.
“So I am happy that my vote was not a waste and I voted for a true representative of the masses” Bukace said.
