Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced November 27, 2026, as the release date for his forthcoming studio album, Oldest Young Man.
The award-winning singer disclosed the date in a post on his Instagram page, describing the project as timeless music with no expiration date.
“The legacy continues. OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26. Timeless music, no expiration date,” he wrote.
The forthcoming project will mark 2Baba’s first studio album in six years, following the release of Warriors, his eighth studio album, in 2020.
The music star has dropped several hints about the project in recent months, building anticipation among fans.
In August, he teased the album’s title, writing: “I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it, I’m still here. My new album, Oldest Young Man, is coming soon.”
He further reinforced the title in September during his birthday celebration, describing himself as “forever the oldest young man”.
2Baba remains one of Nigeria’s most celebrated musicians, with a career spanning decades and hit songs that have influenced the growth of contemporary African music.
