The commissioner of police, Abia state,CP Janet Agbade,has started that Abia state police command is working out plans to collaborate with Man O’War Nigeria in the area of intelligence gathering.
CP Agbade made this revelation when state executive members of Abia state Man O’War Nigeria command paid her a courtesy visit in her office today in Umuahia.
She said that Man O’War Nigeria is a very responsible Organization and command responsible men within it’s leadership, that any security agency will like to work with, especially in the area of intelligence gathering.
According to her,”Man O’War Nigeria is a responsible Organization and is a very big family and you cannot know all your members, my advise to the Organization and it’s leadership is to put their eyes on the ground and fish out all the bad eggs in there mist,in other to preserve the good name and Image of the Organization.”
She equally said that Man O’War Nigeria as members of citizenship and leadership training centre, she charged them to monitor all Training grounds and gather relevant intelligence information that will help security agents to curtain insecurity in Nigeria.
Earlier in his address, the National Commander,Man O’War Nigeria,Col.Sani Adamu Depsia(rtd), representated by Ambassador John Steve Iwara, the former National Director of Operations and Rescue, citizenship and leadership training centre Abuja, thanked Abia CP Janet Agbade for her good works security wise.
“This visit was triggered off by the lingering octopus like insecurity in the state and the nation at large.But counting on the strategy and tactics you employed to preserve a peaceful atmosphere, maintain lasting peace and safety in Abia state deserves commendation.”The National Commander said.
He said that Man O’War Nigeria is here today, officially to collaborate with Abia Commissioner of police for an effective and optimum discharge of our duties within the armbits of the law.
The highlight of the courtesy visit was the confirment of Man O’War Nigeria Peace Ambassador and the investiture of life Matron per Excellence of the Man O’War Nigeria, Abia state command on Abia state Commissioner of police,CP Janet Agbade.
