Well-known Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has requested that his bout with contentious singer Portable be called off.
In Wednesday, Portable prevailed over the actor in a celebrity boxing battle that was staged to resolve their financial disagreement.
Okocha charged that the match officials and referee had rigged the contest in response to Portable’s victory.The actor took to social media to air his complaints, claiming that Portable had taken off his boxing gloves during the third round, an action that should have resulted in his instant disqualification.
“How can you give up in the third round when there are four?” he said. When the battle is still ongoing, how do you remove your gloves in the third round to risk being completely disqualified?
After losing to Portable, Charles Okocha implied a rematch by stating, “It was rigged.”
