Bangui, the Central African Republic’s capital was over the weekend thrown in frenzy following the performance of Nigeria’s music superstar, Flavour Nabania in a peace concert at the Barthélemy Boganda Stadium.
The mammoth crowd which turned up for the event despite early showers testifies to the acceptability of the multi-instrumentalist and Afro-highlife superstar, who thrilled music lovers with an electrifying performance.
Speaking about the concert Flavour said “Adding my voice to raise the movement of peace for the people of Central African Republic would always be an honour”
As part of his engagement, the Nigerian music sensation on Sunday delighted the audience with his marvelous performance at a special Gala Night organised to mark this year’s Mother’s Day at the Ledger Plaza in Bangui.
On the sidelines of the Bangui tour, Flavour took out time to share an emotional moment when he visited a group of disabled people led by Central African artist, Beach Man. As usual, Flavour who likes to identify with the physically challenged, promised to support them in his own little way to help them reach their dreams. He praised Beach Man for his resilience despite his condition and assured that he would do a collaboration with him that would let the world hear him.
The show, sponsored by Montage Africa Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism had in attendance, top government officials, members of the diplomatic corps as well as the business community.
