Popular Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis have announced that they are expecting their first child, barely two months after their wedding.
The couple shared the news on Instagram on Thursday alongside photographs showing Jarvis with a visible baby bump.
In the pictures, Peller and Jarvis were dressed in matching white outfits as they posed together against an ocean backdrop.
Sharing their excitement, Jarvis described the pregnancy as the latest chapter in their journey together, saying their relationship had been marked by laughter, tears, prayers and growth.
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents,” she wrote.
“A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer.”
The announcement comes shortly after the couple got married in a civil ceremony in Lagos on July 29.
Their relationship had attracted considerable attention from fans, particularly after some followers speculated that Jarvis was already pregnant, citing changes in her appearance.
The couple, however, dismissed the speculation at the time, explaining that her weight gain was linked to late-night eating.
The latest announcement has since triggered congratulatory messages from fans and fellow content creators celebrating the couple as they prepare to welcome their first child.
