New audio that VeryDarkMan released, Bobrisky says, “I paid SAN N5 million upfront for pardon.”

Published

Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, a.k.a. Bobrisky, is a controversial cross-dresser who has claimed he paid an unidentified Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, N5 million up front to get the Federal Government to pardon him for money laundering charges the EFCC had brought against him.

On Monday, October 7, 2024, social media personality Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, VDM, released the recording.

The phone recording was made on May 16, 2024, according to VDM.

Bobrisky stated on the recording that the SAN requested N10 million, but he was unable to provide the entire sum since the EFCC had frozen his account.

Bobrisky allegedly stated, “I’m supposed to finish my sentence by July, but if we get the amnesty, I could leave by the first week of next month.”

“My account is frozen, although I could have deposited the N10 million that the SAN requested.

“We submitted the N5 million my godfather handed me to the SAN two weeks ago. He has already filed the request for a pardon.

Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, denied knowing Bobrisky, according to an article published in the Daily Post last week.

Falana maintained that the transvestite had only ever spoken to his son, Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, and that he had never done business with Bobrisky.

World record for longest catwalk set by Nigerian student

Published

on

Ololade Ayelabola, a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most distance walked by a model.

The model, who has previously finished a 130.62-kilometer catwalk, began a 120-kilometer effort on October 1 at UNILAG’s indoor sports center.

After surpassing the 120km milestone, she performed an extra 10km of walking, making 2,058 laps within the sports complex.

Ayelabola stated in a Monday Instagram post that the official goal was to present the nation’s fashion industry and inventiveness to a global audience.

“I’m not going to walk by myself. I’m walking in the shoes of numerous models who have been constrained by rigid systems’ norms and preconceptions.

“I’m walking to demonstrate the ingenuity of the Nigerian fashion industry as well.”

The accomplishment of Ayelabola is contingent upon GWR certification and confirmation.

Her achievement beat the record set on September 21, 1983, in Dublin, Ireland, by Roberta Brown and Lorraine McCourt, who walked 114.4 kilometers (71.1 miles).
